Liberty Academy is situated in the beautiful town of Moultonborough, NH.
What is a Public Charter School?
Charter schools are publicly-funded independent schools with the freedom to meet students’ needs, especially in selecting/designing their own curriculum.
Does not charge tuition.
They are part of the state school system and are accountable to state and federal laws for compliance with their founding charter contract.
Includes achievement-based standards.
Charter schools are not subject to most of the regulations found in traditional public schools, allowing broader innovation and creative teaching methods.
In New Hampshire, Charter School funding ($10,000. per student)does not take money from traditional public schools ($20,323. per student in ‘22-’23).
